Whiskylicious returns to Collingwood with local restaurants taking part in the unique 12-day festival that gives Collingwood’s outstanding chefs the chance to share their sweet and savoury creations, inspired by Collingwood Whisky.
More than ten locations will be serving delicious, whisky-inspired culinary creations: The Iron Skillet 2.0, Lakeside Seafood & Grill, Memories Restaurant, Tesoro, The Beaver & Bulldog, Gustav Chophouse & Grill, Azzurra, The Huron Club, Bent Taco, The Curly Willow, and Prime Seven Nine.

Friday, February 1 – Journey Fourth VIP Whiskylicious Tour Contest and Festival Kickoff.
Join the Collingwood Whiskylicious team at the Collingwood LCBO on Friday at 4:30 PM. They will be available for pictures along with the engraving team so you can get a personalized bottle for that special someone. Then cheer on the Journey Forth VIP Whiskylicious Contest winners as they head out to tour the town along with Collingwood Whisky’s national brand ambassador and bartender extraordinaire, Taylor Corrigan. This new contest, presented by 95.1 The Peak, gives participants the chance to win a Journey Forth VIP Tour prize pack that includes:
- an engraved bottle of Collingwood Whisky courtesy of Canadian Mist
- a Journey Forth Tour to Gustav Chophouse, Prime Seven Nine, and Lakeside Grill to sample some of the amazing cuisine each local chef has prepared

Whiskylicious brings back Cocktail Making with Taylor Corrigan at Alpine Ski Club along with a team of great bartenders, delicious food from the Men with Knives kitchen and live music from the Dust Jackets. Sample Alpine’s Own Cinnamon Whisky Sour and three Collingwood Whisky feature cocktails. Includes: 4 cocktail tickets, passed whisky inspired appetizers and live music from duo Dust Jackets, $30. Sunday, February 10
An exciting new addition this year is the Whisky Walk in Downtown Collingwood, presented by Classical 102.9. Between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM, six groups of up to 25 participants, each guided by an employee from the local Collingwood Whisky distillery, will enjoy a Sunday afternoon stroll through the streets of historic Downtown Collingwood ‘detouring’ to six different locations. There they will sample and savour delicious food and whisky pairings inspired by COLLINGWOOD Whisky and prepared by Collingwood’s talented local chefs. Included is a Collingwood Whisky “hometown” stop at the Simcoe Street Press Gallery featuring a photo exhibit of the distillery and Collingwood Whisky’s national brand ambassador and bartender extraordinaire, Taylor Corrigan. All this for only $40! Space is limited.

Cheer on our region’s talented bartenders at the 3rd Annual Collingwood Whiskylicious Bartender Competition at Gustav Chophouse & Bar, located at Georgian Bay Hotel & Conference Centre. Due to demand, we have expanded the competition and added the People’s Choice category. Bartenders will create uniquely delicious ‘Journey Forth’ inspired cocktails using Collingwood Whisky and then let the crowd sample their creations. Come out and vote for your favourite bartenders. About Collingwood Whisky
Collingwood Whisky was launched in 2011 as a new premium artisanal Canadian whisky, under the skilled craftsmanship of Brown-Forman Master Distiller Chris Morris. Like the town where it’s made, Collingwood Whisky is no ordinary spirit. Distilled using fresh filtered water from Georgian Bay and grains (corn, rye and barley) sourced mainly from Ontario farms, it is aged in high-quality oak barrels hand-made in Brown-Forman’s own cooperage. Once the whisky is perfectly matured, it is rested with toasted maplewood “staves”, which imparts a maple character that is truly Canadian, yet unique among Canadian whiskies.
“Collingwood Whisky is inspired by the iconic heritage and natural resources of Southern Georgian Bay,” says David Dobbin, AVP and General Manager of Canadian Mist Distillers. “What stands out about this whisky is that it’s incredibly smooth with no harshness. The distillery where Collingwood Whisky is made is Canada’s longest continuously owned and operated distillery. Located in the Town of Collingwood, the Collingwood Whisky distillery celebrated its 50th Anniversary in 2017.
