Just past 8 p.m. on January 9, 2018, Grey County OPP was contacted by the Canadian Border Services Agency at Toronto Pearson International Airport stating they had a man in custody wanted by Grey County OPP on an outstanding arrest warrant from September 13, 2006.
On September 13, 2006 a warrant was issued for 66-year old Kim Roman, of Hamilton, who was charged with the production of marijuana, production of cannabis resin and possession of marijuana over 3Kg for the purposes of trafficking, all offences under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. At the time, Roman lived in Southgate.
At 11 p.m. on Tuesday, Grey County OPP took Roman into custody. He was returned to the Chatsworth OPP Detachment where he was held pending a Wednesday bail hearing in Owen Sound.
