Wacky… But True, November 14th

A Vermont trick-or-treater may have picked up more than candy on Halloween this year. Police say a woman who lives in South Burlington called them after she says she accidentally dropped her yellow gold and diamond eternity wedding band into a trick-or-treater’s bag. Police are asking parents to check their children’s candy bags if they visited the woman’s neighborhood and to contact South Burlington police if parents find anything. (Source: abcnews.go.com)

And police in Massachusetts are warning drivers not to make their own license plates after one car was recently spotted with a homemade one. Hopkinton police posted a picture of a Buick Century with a “fake” license plate they said was made from a pizza box and had the numbers drawn in with magic markers. Maybe if it had been from Papa John’s. (Source: Interprep.com; Image Courtesy of nbcsandiego.com)
