Wacky… But True, March 29th

It sounds too good to be true, but the people behind a job offer say it’s legitimate. Since posting an online ad looking for someone to travel the world and stay in luxury accommodations, Third Home has been inundated with applications. With a monthly salary of $10,000 the successful applicant will get to travel the world for three months and blog about their experience in 12 multi-million dollar holiday homes. The requirements aren’t too restrictive: As long as you are over 18, can speak English and have excellent writing skills, you can apply… and sorry, I have no contact information for you.

And as many Millennials are struggling to figure out their career paths, Loraine Maurer’s story may serve as an inspiration. Loraine, a 94-year-old great-grandmother from Indiana, just celebrated 44 years of service at McDonald’s. And she’s not retiring. Loraine gets up at 3 am for her 5 am shifts on Fridays and Saturdays and has worked at several locations of the chain in Evansville, Indiana, since 1973, when her husband retired due to a disability.
