A Florida woman said she woke up to find an alleged burglar in her home. As soon as she saw him she called police, then waited patiently. The burglar was asleep on her couch, he was covered up with a blanket, and had an open beer on her coffee table.
Smoke and flames didn’t seem to deter some people from trying to get their fast-food fix. People reportedly continued to line up at the drive-thru at an A&W restaurant in Winnipeg, Sunday, even after the store caught fire. The dense smoke and intense heat made it difficult for firefighters, who attempted to douse the flames from the outside. Crews remained at the scene for nearly eight hours. Everyone inside was able to escape the store without injury and only one firefighter had minor injuries, thankfully.
