OPP Recover Stolen Pick-Up Truck In Meaford

A stolen car was recovered after the Grey County OPP received a report of two males with a suspicious vehicle on Victoria Street in Meaford just after 5 p.m. on March 4.

One of the men has been identified while the other was unknown. The unknown man was described as being about 5’5″ with a slim build and wearing dark jeans and a black hoodie. Police found the vehicle unattended in the parking lot of Victoria Village on Victoria Street. Their investigation revealed that the car, a black 2015 Ford F-150 pick-up truck, was reported stolen from Halton Region on March 3, so the recovered pick-up was towed from the scene.

The investigation continues and police are asking anyone with information which may assist to call Grey County OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
