Alexa Mansour, Nicolas Cantu, and Hal Cumpston will all star in the new series, which is said to follow two female protagonists and focus on the first generation to come-of-age in the zombie apocalypse. A second lead female role has yet to be cast.

Denise Nickerson, Violet in ‘Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory,’ Dies at 62: Denise Nickerson, best known for her role as Violet Beauregarde in the 1971 version of “Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory,” died Wednesday night, having suffered a severe stroke in June 2018. Despite entering a rehab facility later in the year, her debilitating state, earlier Wednesday, led to a family decision to end life support. Denise Nickerson was 62.

Bruce Springsteen announced on Wednesday a new film based on his latest album, Western Stars. Springsteen made the announcement, saying that the project would be released in 2019 and feature the entire album being performed, among other things.
