The Collingwood Youth Centre (CYC) which offers all kinds of cool things for youth from grade 7 to age 18 to do has just announced its exciting fall line-up of ten amazing youth programs. Youth Business/Youth Future, DJ Lessons, No Judge Club, Kids Feeding Kids,
Youth Marketing Team, Be The Change Film Series Crew, Girlfriends, The Crew, Guitar and Recording Techniques and Food Rescue Team. CYC offers additional opportunities for high school students to earn their required forty hours of community service. Students are encouraged to drop in to find out more about opportunities available with local non-profit organizations. CYC is available for drop-ins 3:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday to Saturday. August 31st at about 2:30 pm, Grey County OPP responded to an accident at a farm property on 3rd Concession in the Municipality of Grey Highlands. The accident involved farm machinery equipment that was being operated by the occupant of the farm. A four-year old male was transported by ambulance but succumbed to life-threatening injuries.
