March 11th, at 4:30 p.m., Grey County OPP conducted a traffic stop on Highway 10 near Road 120 in the Grey Highlands. The driver of the pick-up truck was found to have been drinking alcohol. Breath tests were conducted and as a result, the driver, a 47-year old male from Brooke-Alvinston, was charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and having a blood/alcohol content of more than 80 milligrams. In the NHL, Alex Ovechkin scored twice to reach 600 goals and Evgeny Kuznetsov had the overtime winner as the Washington Capitals returned to first place by beating the Winnipeg Jets 3-2 on Monday.
A go-ahead goal with three minutes left, lifted Ottawa over Florida 5-3.
Columbus won their fifth straight, 5-2 over Montreal.
And Los Angeles moved back into a playoff position with a 3-0 win over Vancouver.
