Police continue to appeal for help locating a missing man in the Mono area. On the night of June 8th, Grey Highlands OPP received a report of a missing person, 24-year-old Douglas Ardis of Grey High-lands who was last seen June 6th around 9 a.m. on Side Road 30 in Mono. He is described as 5’8″, 195 lbs with short, light brown hair that is pulled back on top. Pictured on our facebook and website pages, he has hazel eyes and wears prescription glasses. Douglas was last seen wearing a dark blue baseball cap, brown blundstone work boots and blue jeans and may have been wearing a dark Tough Duck jacket. He drives a silver super cab Ford F150 pick-up truck with the license plate number AW25234. Anyone with information is asked to call 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS). Baseball action… J.A. Happ gave up just one hit in five innings of stellar pitching but the Toronto Blue Jays still fell to the Rays 1-0 yesterday afternoon in a 3-0 series sweep by Tampa Bay at Tropicana Field.
Boston completed a three-game sweep of skidding Baltimore with a 5-1 victory.
And a two-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning gave Seattle an 8-6 victory sweep in a three-game series over the Los Angeles Angels.
The Jays are idle til they host Washington Friday night.
