The Ontario Government is freezing driver and vehicle fees that were set to increase on January 1st. This is the second round of driver and vehicle fee increases that the Government has cancelled. In September, fees for driver’s licences and road and knowledge tests were frozen. Now, among fees remaining the same: South Passenger vehicle validation staying at $120, North Passenger vehicle validation staying at $60, South Commercial vehicle, under 3k kg, personal use only, $120, North Commercial vehicle, under 3k kg, at $60, South Commercial under 3k kg business validation, at $120, North Commercial, under 3k kg, business validation at $120.
