Huronia West OPP were called shortly after 2:00 a.m. Sunday morning to assist a male who was suffering from a gunshot wound in Wasaga Beach. The 30-year-old male victim was transported to an area hospital where he is recovering serious but non-life threatening injuries. Police are looking to speak with anyone who might have witnessed suspicious activity in the area of Wesley and River Road early Sunday morning. Huronia West OPP crime unit are currently investigating and are looking for information which may assist in identifying suspect(s).
