December 1st at about 11:00 p.m., members of the Huronia West OPP responded to a 911 call reporting that a pedestrian had been hit by a vehicle on Hwy 26 in Wasaga Beach. An initial OPP investigation revealed that a woman had exited a car on the shoulder of the westbound lanes of Hwy 26 just west of the Mosley Street-Hwy 26 roundabout. The 23-year old woman from Port Elgin was walking along the shoulder Hwy 26 being followed by the vehicle, and for an unknown reason, entered the lane and was struck by a westbound car traveling in the lane closest to the centre. Deceased is Emily Ross, 23 years old from Port Elgin. The investigation into this fatal motor vehicle collision is ongoing. (Source: muskoka411.com)
October 3rd at about 8 p.m., the Bruce Peninsula OPP received a report of a serious collision between a motorcycle and a Pontiac G6 on Highway 6 between Barrow Bay Road and Cemetery Road in Municipality of Northern Bruce Peninsula. The motorcycle rider, 38-year-old Edward Chad Honneyman of Wiarton, was pronounced dead at the scene. December 5th, OPP arrested and charged the driver of the Pontiac from Northern Bruce Peninsula with Dangerous Operation of Motor Vehicle Causing Death and Possession of a Schedule I Substance. December 6th, the accused attended Court in Owen Sound for a bail hearing. (Source: muskoka411.com)

Anaheim shut-out slumping Ottawa in a 3-0 victory.
And Philadelphia won their second game in a row, defeating Edmonton 4-2.
