The Meaford yard waste depot at 157859 7th Line now has compost and mulch available for planting needs. . Hours of operation for the depot are Fridays from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. You must load the material yourself and provide your own containers/transportation.
2019 Prices (Cash only, tax included):
Finished Compost / Mulch: Large load up to 1.5 cubic metres – $20.00

Saturday June 22nd, police received report of a break and enter that had occurred at a South Line road residence in the Glenelg area. The victim’s pick-up truck and tools, cash and electronics were stolen along with a large quantity of firearms. Sunday, June 23rd, the stolen truck was located in Hanover and the West Grey Police recovered the stolen truck and tools. Tuesday July 2nd, the West Grey Police Service successfully recovered eleven firearms which had been stolen from the Glenelg area residence. Anyone with information is asked to contact the West Grey Police Service at 519-371-6911 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
