Collingwood Public Library and Simcoe Street Theatre Present “Maudie” for National Canadian Film Day

• On Wednesday April 18th at 7 pm, The Collingwood Public Library and Simcoe Street Theatre present the film Maudie for National Canadian Film Day, happening at the Simcoe Street Theatre, 65 Simcoe Street, Collingwood.

• Maudie is based on the true story of Nova Scotia Painter Maud Lewis, who overcame the physical challenge of juvenile rheumatoid arthritis to become one of Canada’s best-known and most loved folk artists.

• Also showing will be My Travels in B.C., a 1915 short documentary.
