Just after 10 p.m. on August 6, 2017, a homeowner on Concession 2 in the Township of Chatsworth returned home after having been away for a short time. The homeowner was surprised to discover an unknown male asleep on the living room floor and thus called Grey County OPP.
Investigation revealed that the sleeping man entered the residence through an insecure door. Once inside, he located several bottles of alcohol, which he proceeded to consume.
As a result, a 47-year-old Grey Highlands man was arrested and charged with break and enter. He was held for a bail hearing on August 7, 2017. The man is scheduled to appear in Court in Owen Sound on August 24, 2017.
