Bruce Peninsula OPP Want To Put An End To Pop Machine Thefts

The Bruce Peninsula OPP is continuing to investigate several reports of pop machine theft.

  • September 8, 2017 between 2:00 a.m. and 2:15 a.m., the pop machine next to the Rankin River Trading Company on Berford Street in Wiarton was broken into.
  • September 8, 2017 between 3:15 a.m. and 4:00 a.m., 3 pop machines were broken into on Bay Street in Tobermory.
  • September 8, 2017 between 5:00 a.m. and 5:15 a.m., 3 pop machines near the intersection of Main Street and Lakeshore Boulevard north in Sauble Beach were broken into.

 

The amount of money stolen from the pop machines is estimated to be more than $1,000. There is no estimate on the cost of repairs to the machines.

Suspect Description:

  • 6 feet tall
  • medium build
  • wears glasses
  • was wearing a dark colored hooded jacket the night of September 8, 2017
